The IABT Junior Tri Club encourage youth to begin combating obesity through multi-disciplined sports. One of those disciplines include swimming. Swimming is an exercise that benefits the entire mind, body, soul, and spirit. Swimming helps those who are identified as obese, find a way to get moving without being faced with injury or despair. Swimming is also an excellent cross trainer for those with an injury.
Most you do not swim because they do not know how to swim. We are weeks remove from the Rio Olympics and the USA Team did an amazing job in the swimming discipline. There are young hopefuls in every city and in every home but they lack the skills within them to reach their dreams and goals. This is where you come in and clubs like the IABT Junior Tri Club under The International Association of Black Triathletes (IABT).
